President & Chief Executive Officer
Todd serves as President and CEO, reporting to the Board of Directors. Based in the corporate offices in Tallahassee, he has direct management responsibility for operations of the company. Todd first joined Florida First Capital as its General Counsel in 1998 and was named President and CEO in 1999. He is Vice-Chair of the Board of the Florida Export Finance Corporation.
SVP & Sales and Marketing Manager
Debbie serves as Senior Vice President & Sales and Marketing Manager and is based in Delray Beach. She has more than 36 years of experience in the real estate industry. Before relocating to South Florida, Debbie was an officer of several real estate development companies. She was responsible for developing over 500 single family homes and several commercial and industrial parks in Massachusetts. Before becoming Florida First Capital’s top producing Business Development Officer, she was the Vice President of Research and Finance for the Broward Alliance and was responsible for processing industrial revenue bonds and tax credits for Broward County. Debbie has a B.S from Emmanuel College and an M.B.A from Simmons Business School, Simmons College, Boston, MA.
VP Sales – Miami-Dade Area
Alejandro serves as a Vice President and Business Development Officer for the Miami-Dade Area and is based in Miami. Alejandro has more than eight years of experience in business management and development. Prior to joining the company, he was a support consultant with Tier I, a division of Windstream Corp., where he conducted business operations with the largest Latin American telecom client in Colombia. Alejandro also previously served as President of a family owned manufacturing business where he focused on establishing strategic partnerships with industry leaders. He received a B.A. in Marketing from the University of Miami and reads, writes and speaks fluent Spanish. Alejandro is responsible for two South Florida counties: Miami-Dade and Monroe.
BDO Sales – NW FL & Panhandle, SO AL & SW GA
Stacey serves as Business Development Officer for the Northwest & Florida Panhandle, South Alabama and Southwest Georgia areas and is based in Pensacola. Stacey joined Florida First Capital in 2011 and previously served as a Loan Processor. She is well versed in the SBA 504 Loan Program and can provide turn-key assistance from application through debenture funding. Prior to joining the company, Stacey served as Sales Support Analyst for Protection One, Inc. She earned a B.S. in Special Education from Penn State. Stacey is responsible for 18 Northwest & Florida Panhandle counties: Bay, Calhoun, Escambia, Franklin, Gadsden, Gulf, Holmes, Jackson, Jefferson, Leon, Liberty, Madison, Okaloosa, Santa Rosa, Taylor, Wakulla, Walton and Washington. She is also responsible for one South Alabama county: Mobile; and two Southwest Georgia counties: Thomas and Seminole.
VP Sales – Central Florida
John serves as a Vice President and Business Development Officer for the Central Florida area and is based in Orlando. He has more than 16 years of experience in finance and marketing. Prior to joining the company, he was Vice President and Account Executive for GE Commercial Finance in Orlando. John also served as a Credit Manager for Wells Fargo. He received an M.B.A from Rollins College. John is responsible for 10 Central Florida counties: Brevard, Citrus, Lake, Levy, Marion, Orange, Osceola, Seminole, Sumter and Volusia.
VP Sales – Tampa Bay Area & SW Florida
Scott serves as a Vice President and Business Development Officer for the Tampa Bay Area and Southwest Florida Region and is based in Tampa. He has over 25 years of commercial banking experience. Prior to joining the company, Scott was the Business Banking Sales Manager in Hillsborough County for Wells Fargo. He also was the Business Banking Sales Manager for Regions Bank from 1998 to 2011 and was responsible for Broward and Palm Beach Counties. He received a B.S. in Finance from Florida State University. Scott is responsible for 15 counties in the Tampa Bay Area and Southwest Florida Region: Charlotte, Collier, DeSoto, Glades, Hardee, Hernando, Hendry, Highlands, Hillsborough, Lee, Manatee, Pasco, Pinellas, Polk and Sarasota.
BDO Sales – South Alabama
Angie serves as Business Development Officer for South Alabama and is based in Auburn-Opelika, AL. She has more than 17 years of professional experience in sales, marketing and lending to small businesses in Alabama, Georgia and Florida. Angie has served on the ASU SBDC Advisory Board. She earned a B.S. in Finance from Samford University. Angie is responsible for three South Alabama counties: Baldwin, Covington and Escambia.
VP Sales – NE FL & SE GA
For over 14 years, Kristen has served as a Vice President and Business Development Officer for the Northeast Florida territory and is based in Jacksonville. She also serves two counties in the Southeast Georgia area. During her time with the company, Kristen has put together more than 750 deals resulting in hundreds of millions of dollars in SBA 504 loans and has consistently been one of the industry’s top producers. Prior to joining Florida First Capital, she earned a B.A. in Business Administration and a B.A. in Marketing from the University of North Florida. Kristen has successfully completed various banking courses through the Risk Management Association and the National Association of Development Companies. 504 lending is her passion and her many years of industry experience and her tenacious ‘never quit’ approach to lending makes her an excellent partner to both businesses and lenders. Kristen is responsible for 16 Northeast Florida counties: Alachua, Baker, Bradford, Clay, Columbia, Dixie, Duval, Flagler, Gilchrist, Hamilton, Lafayette, Nassau, Putnam, St. Johns, Suwannee and Union. She is also responsible for two Southeast Georgia counties: Camden and Charlton.
William Wilson, CFP®, CCIM
BDO Sales – Southwest Florida
William serves as Business Development Officer for the Southwest Florida Region and is based in Ft. Myers. He has been in banking, commercial and small business lending since 1995 and has financed tens of millions of dollars of projects in Chicago, Las Vegas and Northern California before joining Florida First Capital. William provides hands on involvement with our banking partners, commercial realtors and economic development organizations. He is active in numerous organizations, including the Realtor’s Association of Sarasota and Manatee, the CCIM Chapter of Southwest Florida, the Royal Palm Coast Realtor’s Association Commercial Division and the Southwest Florida Chapter of CREW. William received an undergraduate degree from Purdue University and an MBA from Keller Graduate School of Management. He is a Certified Financial Planner®, holds the prestigious Certified Commercial Investment Member designation and is an honorably discharged Army Reserve Officer. William is responsible for 10 counties in the Southwest Region: Manatee, Sarasota, Hardee, De Soto, Highlands, Charlotte, Glades, Lee, Hendry and Collier.
SVP & Credit Underwriting Manager
Angie serves as a Senior Vice President and Credit Underwriting Manager and is based in the Jacksonville office. Her primary responsibilities are the oversight of the credit department staff, including credit underwriting and processing of SBA 504 loan packages throughout the state. Angie has more than 20 years of experience in credit underwriting and structuring small business loans. Prior to joining the company, Angie was an Underwriter for the Jacksonville Economic Development Company and a Credit Analyst and Assistant Vice President for Bank of America.
SVP & Assistant Credit Underwriting Manager
Gail serves as a Senior Vice President and Assistant Credit Manager and is based in the Tampa/St. Petersburg area. In addition to providing support to the Credit Underwriting Manager, her responsibilities include credit underwriting and processing of loan packages throughout the state. Gail has more than 25 years of experience in credit underwriting and structuring small business loans. Prior to joining Florida First Capital, she served as a Senior Risk Analyst and a successful Sales Team Leader covering the Florida market and the New England and Mid-Atlantic regions for General Electric Small Business Finance Corporation.
SVP & Credit Underwriter
Sherry serves as a Senior Vice President and Credit Underwriter and is based in Miami. She has more than 21 years of experience underwriting SBA 504 loans for commercial real estate and equipment for small businesses. Sherry focuses equally on direct loan generation and credit analysis. She provides hands-on training for both local and statewide lenders and packages and processes joint loan requests with these same lenders. Sherry also serves as the primary contact with borrowers for all issues leading up to loan approval. Additionally, she also serves as the Underwriting Department’s primary point of contact for the 504 Bridge Loan Program and the Florida Recycling Loan Program. Prior to joining the company, Sherry worked as a Senior Vice President for another certified development company.
SVP & Director of Loan Administration
Lynn serves as Senior Vice President & Director of Loan Administration and is based in the corporate offices in Tallahassee. She has been with the company since 1999 and has more than 31 years of experience in banking, legal administration and management. Lynn is responsible for oversight and risk management of the 504 loan portfolio as well as multiple other loan portfolios administered by FFCFC for the State of Florida. She is Florida First Capital’s designated Emergency Support Function (ESF) 18 Representative for the State of Florida due to her extensive experience in management of the Florida Small Business Emergency Bridge Loan Program. Lynn has served in multiple capacities within Florida First Capital over the span of her career and she brings a broad range of experience to the operations of the company.
Director of Administration & Chief Compliance Officer
Christine serves as Director of Administration and Chief Compliance Officer and is based in the Viera/Orlando area. Her primary responsibilities include oversight of the Administration Department staff and corporate accounting procedures. She is also responsible for ensuring corporate compliance with the SBA and other state and federal regulations. She also serves as coordinator of the company’s role as servicing agent for the SSBCI/504 Bridge Loan Program. Christine has been with the company since 2012, is a Florida Registered Paralegal, and has more than 19 years of administrative and legal experience.
