Board Member, President & Chief Executive Officer
Todd serves as Board Member, President and CEO, reporting to the Board of Directors. Based in the corporate offices in Tallahassee, he has direct management responsibility for operations of the company. Todd first joined Florida First Capital as its General Counsel in 1998 and was named President and CEO in 1999. He is Vice-Chair of the Board of the Florida Export Finance Corporation.

Mark serves as Executive Vice President and General Counsel and is based in Tallahassee. Mark’s extensive resume includes serving as Senior Advisor on Government Relations for Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney – one of the largest law firms in the nation. He also has deep experience in Florida state government having worked as Director of Legislative Affairs and Policy Coordinator for Transportation and Economic Development for Governors Rick Scott and Ron DeSantis as well as having held several staff positions in the Florida Senate and the Florida House of Representatives. Previously, Mark served as the Director of Closing and Assistant General Counsel for Florida First Capital.
Gayle has more than 25 years of experience in the banking industry, specializing in commercial banking. As a top producer helping businesses realize their dreams of real estate ownership, she became enamored with the SBA 504 program and took the full leap into SBA lending as a Business Development Officer/SBA Specialist for JP Morgan Chase Bank and then Regions Bank. In 2020, Gayle joined the FCF/FFC team as an underwriter and now serves as Regional Sales Manager, facilitating the company’s expansion into Alabama and Georgia. From 2019-2022, she served on the Florida Association of Government Guaranteed Lenders (FLAGGL) Board and is active with other non-profits, including weVenture which ignites the power of women entrepreneurs.
Marsha serves as a Business Development Officer for North Florida & Panhandle and South Georgia and is based in Tallahassee. Marsha joined Florida First Capital in 2018 and has nearly 20 years of banking experience on both the commercial and retail side. She is a native of Tallahassee and provides comprehensive service throughout the SBA loan process. Prior to joining the company, Marsha served as commercial lender with Prime Meridian Bank, where she worked closely with borrowers in both commercial and consumer lending. She received a B.S. in Finance & Real Estate from Florida State University. Marsha has been involved with her local Rotary Club since 2014, and has served on other local boards throughout her career. Marsha is responsible for the following North Florida & Panhandle counties: Bay, Calhoun, Dixie, Franklin, Gadsden, Gulf, Hamilton, Holmes, Jackson, Jefferson, Lafayette, Leon, Liberty, Madison, Suwannee, Taylor, Wakulla, Walton and Washington. In South Georgia, Marsha covers the following counties: Atkinson, Baker, Berrien, Brooks, Clay, Clinch, Coffee, Colquitt, Cook, Crisp, Decatur, Dougherty, Early, Echols, Grady, Irwin, Lanier, Lee, Lowndes, Miller, Mitchell, Seminole, Terrell, Thomas, Tift, Turner, Ware and Worth.
Alejandro serves as a Vice President and Business Development Officer for the Miami-Dade Area and is based in Miami. Alejandro has more than eight years of experience in business management and development. Prior to joining the company, he was a support consultant with Tier I, a division of Windstream Corp., where he conducted business operations with the largest Latin American telecom client in Colombia. Alejandro also previously served as President of a family owned manufacturing business where he focused on establishing strategic partnerships with industry leaders. He received a B.A. in Marketing from the University of Miami and reads, writes and speaks fluent Spanish. Alejandro is responsible for two South Florida counties: Miami-Dade and Monroe.
John serves as a Vice President and Business Development Officer for the Central Florida area and is based in Orlando. He has more than 16 years of experience in finance and marketing. Prior to joining the company, he was Vice President and Account Executive for GE Commercial Finance in Orlando. John also served as a Credit Manager for Wells Fargo. He received an M.B.A from Rollins College. John is responsible for 9 Central Florida counties: Citrus, Lake, Levy, Marion, Orange, Osceola, Seminole, Sumter and Volusia.
Laurel serves as Business Development Officer for Palm Beach County, Florida. Laurel earned her B.S in Biological Sciences from Arizona State University. She has over 10 years of nationwide SBA related lending experience and is active on many National SBA Association Committees and the Risk Management Association of South Florida Board.
Scott serves as a Vice President and Business Development Officer for the Tampa Bay Area and is based in Tampa. He has over 30 years of commercial banking experience. Prior to joining the company, Scott was the Business Banking Sales Manager in Hillsborough County for Wells Fargo. He also was the Business Banking Sales Manager for Regions Bank from 1998 to 2011 and was responsible for Broward and Palm Beach Counties. He received a B.S. in Finance from Florida State University. Scott is responsible for 5 counties in the Tampa Bay Area: Hernando, Hillsborough, Pasco, Pinellas and Polk.
Joel serves as a Business Development Officer for the Southwest Alabama and Northwest Florida area and is based in Saraland, AL. He has more than 15 years of experience in commercial lending and banking. Joel serves Baldwin, Butler, Clarke, Conecuh, Covington, Monroe and Washington counties in Alabama and Escambia, Okaloosa, Santa Rosa and Walton in Florida.
For nearly 20 years, Kristen has served as a Vice President and Business Development Officer for the Northeast Florida territory and is based in Jacksonville. During her time with the company, Kristen has put together more than 1000 deals resulting in hundreds of millions of dollars in SBA 504 loans and has consistently been one of the industry’s top producers. Prior to joining Florida First Capital, she earned a B.A. in Business Administration and a B.A. in Marketing from the University of North Florida. Kristen has successfully completed various banking courses through the Risk Management Association and the National Association of Development Companies. 504 lending is her passion and her many years of industry experience and her tenacious ‘never quit’ approach to lending makes her an excellent partner to both businesses and lenders. Kristen is responsible for 12 Northeast Florida counties, including: Alachua, Baker, Bradford, Clay, Columbia, Duval, Flagler, Gilchrist, Nassau, Putnam, St. Johns, and Union.
William serves as a Vice President and Business Development Officer for the Southwest Florida Region and is based in Ft. Myers. He has been in banking, commercial and small business lending since 1995 and has financed tens of millions of dollars of projects in Chicago, Las Vegas and Northern California before joining Florida First Capital. William provides hands on involvement with our banking partners, commercial realtors and economic development organizations. He is active in numerous organizations, including the Realtor’s Association of Sarasota and Manatee and the CCIM Chapter of Florida. William received an undergraduate degree from Purdue University and an MBA from Keller Graduate School of Management. He is a Certified Financial Planner®, holds the prestigious Certified Commercial Investment Member designation and is an honorably discharged Army Reserve Officer. William is responsible for 10 counties in the Southwest Region: Manatee, Sarasota, Hardee, De Soto, Highlands, Charlotte, Glades, Lee, Hendry and Collier.
Brenda serves as a Business Development Officer for the Space & Treasure Coasts and is based in Melbourne. She has over 30 years of banking and finance experience. Prior to joining the company, Brenda was a Vice President Small Business Development Officer serving the Space & Treasure Coasts for BB&T, now Truist. Throughout her career, she has obtained diplomas in financial banking, consumer lending, residential mortgage lending and commercial lending from the Center for Financial Training. Brenda is responsible for 5 Florida counties: Brevard, Indian River, Martin, Okeechobee and St. Lucie.
Drew Robinson serves as a Business Development Officer for First Capital Finance Corporation in the greater Birmingham area and is based in Birmingham, AL. Drew has nearly ten years of banking industry experience in commercial credit and small business retail banking. Prior to working in financial services, he was an educator in his hometown of Wailuku, HI. Drew earned an M.S. in Accounting from the University of Colorado and a B.A. in History from California State University, Northridge.

Darcie serves as Processing & Closing Manager and is based in Melbourne. Her primary responsibilities include oversight of the Processing Team, which includes the Construction Department, as well as hands-on packaging, processing and closing of loans throughout the state of Florida. She works directly with borrowers, lenders and closing counsel to ensure a smooth lending process from start to finish. Darcie has been with the company since 2012 and received a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Central Florida.
Angie serves as a Senior Vice President and Credit Underwriting Manager and is based in the Jacksonville office. Her primary responsibilities are the oversight of the credit department staff, including credit underwriting and processing of SBA 504 loan packages throughout the state. Angie has more than 20 years of experience in credit underwriting and structuring small business loans. Prior to joining the company, Angie was an Underwriter for the Jacksonville Economic Development Company and a Credit Analyst and Assistant Vice President for Bank of America.
Lynn serves as Senior Vice President & Loan Administration Manager and is based in the corporate offices in Tallahassee. She has been with the company since 1999 and has more than 31 years of experience in banking, legal administration and management. Lynn is responsible for oversight and risk management of the 504 loan portfolio as well as multiple other loan portfolios administered by FFCFC for the State of Florida. She is Florida First Capital’s designated Emergency Support Function (ESF) 18 Representative for the State of Florida due to her extensive experience in management of the Florida Small Business Emergency Bridge Loan Program. Lynn has served in multiple capacities within Florida First Capital over the span of her career and she brings a broad range of experience to the operations of the company.
Christine serves as Director of Administration and Chief Compliance Officer and is based in the Viera/Orlando area. Her primary responsibilities include oversight of the Administration Department staff and corporate accounting procedures. She is also responsible for ensuring corporate compliance with the SBA and other state and federal regulations. She also serves as coordinator of the company’s role as servicing agent for the SSBCI/504 Bridge Loan Program. Christine has been with the company since 2012, is a Florida Registered Paralegal, and has more than 23 years of administrative and legal experience.
